If your not cheating....

You know that feeling you get when you wake up on a Sunday morning and your a little hung over from the night before. Then you look at the ceiling rubbing the sh!t out of your eyes and you realize you have no idea where you are. THEN you roll over to meet the possible birth mother of your first son and judging by her gene pool he's gonna end up being an offensive lineman.

You know that feeling? Well that's the feeling I had when I heard that today's Vince Lombardi was making more of a run for today's Richard Nixon. Cheating? Bill Belichick a cheater? I mean other than cheating on his wife which I have come to accept and to be honest appreciate, I can't believe Bill is a cheater. But lets just assume he is for the sake of conversation. Let's say that Bill has had staff members armed with a zoom lens ("enhance...enhance....enhance..."), satellites peering in at opposing team's practice sessions, let's say that Bill went as far as to kidnap Peyton Manning-install a computer chip in his big freaking head and steal his audible calls...SO WHAT?!?!? He cheated...weird.

Somebody is always trying to get a competitive edge in pro sports and 99.9% of the time that edge does not comply with the rule book. It's kinda like a "Code Red" from a Few Good Men, you can't read about it in the marine guideline book but there are a lot of things you cant read about in that book like finding your way to mess hall (Mad props to Tom Cruise for winning that case too). So basically what I'm getting at is that everyone is cheating at all times and as bad as that sounds it makes for a even playing field. Sure I don't like the idea of the Patriots cheating but to put it simply I don't care. We've been nasty, we're still are nasty and we're going to be more nasty toward the end of the season. If it takes a little camera action to get that egde so be it.

Bill your still a genius to me.

Mangini...you we're never a Patriot, you were always a Rat!

The Act of Reneging

1. To go back on (a promise, agreement, deal, etc).

Form: renege on something (often)2. To renounce (a promise, etc) or desert (a person, faith, etc).3. cards.

To revoke (sense 2).

So I would just like to say that I was completely wrong about Randy Moss....the guy's sick and he has definitely bought into the Patriot's persona...cant be right all the time.

JD BOO

SO I am watching the NFL tonight and I switch over to check on the sox. 6-6 1 out YOUK gets a hit , then Jacoby follows suit with a single. Bases Loaded 1 Out with JD DREW walking to the plate.... Is it me or would you rather see John Henry go up there instead? JD please do anything but ground into a double play! NOPE he hates all of Boston and grounds into the inning ending double play.

WHY WHY WHY does TITO want us to hate him so much can he not give JD Suck a break for say, i dont know the rest of the season? He brings nothing to the table. I think they dont want to pay the contract and wants someone to assassinate him. That is really the only plausible idea I can think of why this guy is allowed to step out of the dugout. DONT PINCH HIT JACOBY FOR KEILTY, DO IT FOR DREW PERMANENTLY.

PLEASE
PLEASE PLEASE

That Was Certainly Interesting

The Sox finally beat the Jays into submission, 13-10. So much for both team's ERAs being under 4.00...

Quick notes...
Mike Lowell: 3-4, 4 RBI, 2 R, 1 BB, 1 SB
Jacoby Ellsbury: 2-5, 3 R, 1 BB
Dustin Pedroia: 3-5, 2 RBI, 3 R

Check out these numbers for Mike Lowell: .329, 18 HR, 101 RBI. So much for being the "throw-in" in the Beckett deal.

This win definitely qualifies as fugly but the Yankees got spanked by Tampa Bay today, so the lead is back up to 7. I'll have to rub that in my boss's face tomorrow. Bastid had the nerve to gloat during the Yankees series last week (only a Yankee fan would be arrogant enough to gloat when the Sox still had a 4 game lead).

I dont buy that either I hate the uniform the players Joe Torre their anoucers, everything. Anyway they are winning the season series by one game now and I hate that too. Why can't we hit the ball? Why is JD Drew forcing me to Hate him. I'll take Willy Mo and keep Drew's Millions. im upset, thank god for the Patriots.

Wookie vs Care Bear

The time of year has come, for all to enjoy a little of the pigskin variety. The Fall is upon us which we all know means football. NFL, college, high school, flag and fantasy for some of you. With football comes plenty of exciting endeavors. Tailgates to benefit from, jerseys to be worn and arguments to be had about who is the best. Well, I wanted to get into the spirit and pass along my top 5 unappreciated football positions.

  • Long Snapper. Here’s a guy who was never good enough to play either linebacker or tight end, so he started bending over and practiced throwing a ball between his legs. You can always tell who he is when he’s on the field, as he is the only one not wearing gloves, wrist bands or anything else that would allow a player to look cool. The long snapper is always the guy who wants to be apart of the team, but everyone else knows that he only has a part of 4 maybe 5 plays a game. Fitness; this guy has the diet of a retired sumo wrestle. But the worst part for these guys is that no one remembers the great ones, people only remember the ones that lose games with a mistake.
  • 3rd String QB. Here’s a fellow who not only doesn’t have to worry about playing in a game, but on top of that he makes 6 figures a year doing it. I mean, that can put a lot of stress on a man. Debating whether to part his hair to the right or left can really put a damper on the pre game jitters.
  • Blocking Fullback. Here’s to the guy who gives up his body for the good of his friends…..(and I don’t mean the frat guy weird touching at parties that they think empresses girls in hopes of taking one home and ruining their life) The blocking fullback has one job in life and that job is take his head and hit it into the first different colored jersey he sees. He usually has so much padding/cowboy collars around his head, he needs to turn to be able to see to the right or left.
  • Field Goal Holder. Not many people know this but the field goal holder position has the most injury during any given year. I mean, holding a ball upright while a little man w/ a one bar face mask runs and swings his leg at you can really cause emotional stress. Being on that one knee for 3 or 4 times a game could possible provide grass stains and tears if on turf.
  • Hit Man on Kick Off. This is a special person to play this position. This sole job in life is to sprint down the field and throw himself into the wall that the apposing team has set up for blocking. You can usually hear this man running down the field screaming as he tries to block the voices in his head. Basically he has to disrupt the wall of other players so his teammates have a chance of making a tackle. These guys also make the best wing men when you go out to the bars.

This all makes perfect sense...thanks buddy

News unearthed this gem, in which a South Carolina inmate is suing Vick for $63 billion. According to the complaint, the inmate alleges Vick stole a pair of his pit bulls, then "sold the dogs on eBay and 'used the proceeds to purchase missiles from the Iran government.'"

ESPN - Is it toon soon to switch it to the Snorkels?

So has anyone noticed that ESPN has been running a schedule as if no one was watching? Don't get me wrong, I've been one of many that turn ESPN and SportsCenter on as soon as I wake up. But, besides their staple show, what have they done for me lately? So who were the 18 people who voted for the "Who’s Now" segment….you know who you are! It seems that ESPN has borrowed a page from MTV or Access Hollywood (I only know of these because of my roommate who acts like a 13 year old gigging girl watching them religiously). That segment forced Stuart Scott to act cool and trendy and talk how the "kids are talking". I'm sure the three featured celebrities didn't even know who he was looking at. And to take it a step further is the predictions of the upcoming College Football schedule. The same members who analysis college football , which do a great job DURING the season, are forced by ESPN programming to discuss how the season is going to play out. It's not like the sports world is hurting for stories right about now. I mean MLB is having a great season; from close division races to Bonds, A-Rod and Rick Ankiel.

Now I know ESPN would defend itself by saying that if someone wanted "up to minute sports news" than go watch ESPN - News….well….if they didn't put the interns there to host the show it would be different. I saw a youtube clip of a guy who's finishing line was "boom goes the dynamite", who could do a better job then the snor-a-than on ESPN news.

So I say bring the news, bring the highlights, not bring "the ideas of producers, who's backgrounds were editing the underwear section of the JC Penny's catalog". I mean, I would even go as far as saying I want Dan Patrick and his tag team partner Keith Olbermann back in the studio throwing it over to Kenny Mayne…think about it. Those 2 am shows were/still are classics.

TIGER IS NASTY

Flat out best ever no question. Is there even an arguement? I don't think so. Arnie and Jack were outstanding as was Bobby Jones but TIGER is takes to the HNL.

YES THE HOLE NUBA LEBAL
